Chocolate Orange Protein Bars

Recipe makes 12 servings

Ingredients:
1 cup (250g) smooth peanut butter (unsweetened)
2 ½ scoops (99g) HLTH Code Chocolate
2 Tbsp (16g) cocoa powder
2 Tbsp (12g) almond flour
1 Tbsp freshly grated orange zest

For the coating:
½ cup (87g) sugar-free chocolate
2 Tbsp (27.5g) coconut oil

Instructions:

Combine peanut butter, HLTH Code Chocolate, cocoa powder, almond flour, and orange zest in a bowl.

Line a square baking dish with parchment paper. Press the mixture into the baking dish. Cut the mixture into bars while in the baking dish and freeze for 15 minutes.

Make the coating; combine chocolate and coconut oil in a bowl. Microwave in 30-second intervals until melted.

Spread the chocolate over the bars (or dip the bars into the chocolate, shaking off the excess).

Chill the bars for 5-10 minutes in a freezer.

Serve as desired and store any leftovers in the fridge.
