Vanilla Cream Cheese Protein Balls

Recipe makes 4 servings (8 balls)

Ingredients:

Outer mixture:
2 scoops (78g) HLTH Code Creamy Vanilla
¼ cup (60g) blanched almond butter
3 Tbsp (20g) almond meal
2 Tbsp (15g) ground flax meal
2 Tbsp (15g) unsweetened shredded coconut, toasted

For the filling:
2 Tbsp (25g) HLTH Code Creamy Vanilla
2 Tbsp (30g) cream cheese, softened
½ Tbsp melted butter

Instructions:

Make the filling; combine the filling ingredients in a bowl. Place into a freezer until firm. Once firm, shape into 8 small balls.

Make the outer mixture; combine the ingredients in a large bowl until smooth.

Divide the outer mixture into 8 portions. Flatten each portion between palms and place a filling ball into the center. Wrap the center part with the ball and shape the outer mixture around the filling into a round ball.

Refrigerate 30 minutes before serving.
